The purpose of the Johnstown Senior Center Advisory Board is to provide advice, assistance, and information on housing, social activities, nutrition, recreation, transportation, referral services and community programs to all seniors.

Friendly Fork Meals
The Friendly Fork Program provides a nutritious meal prepared by UNC Dining Services. It is a suggested $5 donation if you or your spouse/significant other is 60 or older. Meals are $14 for anyone 59 and younger. Friendly Fork Meals are served as Dine In or Carry Out/To-Go. Please specify if you need Carry Out/To-Go when reserving your meal.
RSVPs must be made the day prior, Tuesdays, by 9:30 am by calling (970) 587-5251. If no one answers, you can leave a voicemail message to RSVP.

The suggested $5.00 per person Annual Membership Fee helps fund your favorite programs and special events. Please download and fill out the form below to purchase an Annual Membership and support your local Senior Center. All information is optional, but helpful! The Johnstown Senior Center does not share or sell your personal information. Thank you for your support!
Need a Ride?
Johnstown residents have access to free paratransit rides through Via Mobility Services! If you're 60 years or older in age or physically unable to drive, Via Mobility can provide you with free transportation to work, appointments, shopping, or other engagements.
Rides with Via Mobility can be booked up to 7 days in advance after you register with Via as a rider. Via's trained drivers will escort you door-to-door and can assist you on and off the bus as needed. Please note that this is a ride-share service, so you will likely share the bus with other riders when receiving transportation.
If you can't get a ride when you need it or where you need it to go, your friends and family may be eligible to apply for mileage reimbursement.
