New light pole banners honoring Johnstown’s past and present service members of the US Armed Forces were hung in Historic Downtown Johnstown and at the 2534 Johnstown Plaza area the week before Memorial Day. These banners, placed along Parish Ave, Charlotte St., Thompson Parkway, and Ronald Reagan Blvd, will be up around Town until Veteran’s Day.
Mayor Gary Lebsack, and Town Council, proclaim May 1-7 as Public Service Recognition Week and call upon all residents to recognize and express their appreciation for the important contributions of public employees and community volunteers throughout the Town and around the world.
There will be after-hours (later than 5pm) road work happening on the evening of April 29, 2022 for final saw cuts into the new alley concrete. Work will end prior to 9pm.

With over 1620 ballots returned, the Town of Johnstown Town Clerk has announced the unofficial election results of the 2022 municipal election.
The Johnstown Police Department will be hosting Drug Take Back Day on April 30 from 10am - 2pm at the Johnstown Police Department Headquarters (430 South Parish Ave. Johnstown, CO 80534).

2022 Spring Clean Up Day will be on April 23, 2022. from 8am-1pm at the Loveland Auto Auction (4660 Chapman Road, Johnstown CO 80534). During this Clean Up Day event, residents are welcome to make 1 trip in a car/SUV/truck or with a small trailer of up to 3 cubic yards to the event location to dispose of their refuse. The Town is partnering with Waste Connections (Town solid waste provider) on this event.
