After-hours road work in alley for Old Town Drainage Project

There will be after-hours (later than 5pm) road work happening on the evening of April 29, 2022 for final saw cuts into the new alley concrete. Work will end prior to 9pm.

Johnstown, CO – April 29, 2022 - Crews working on the alley north of N First Street between North Estes and North Greeley, will be working past 5pm tonight on account of the sensitivity of the newly placed concrete. The concrete in the alley was poured today and utility cuts still need to be made into the concrete. Crews need to saw cut the concrete tonight to avoid creating cracks in the new roadway; waiting as late as tomorrow morning to cut the concrete would result in cracks for this new alley surface. This after-hours work will end before 9pm.
