Suspicious Vehicle Fire – Police Seeking Public’s Help

On August 24, Johnstown Police Department and Loveland Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the Thompson Crossing neighborhood in Johnstown, Colorado. The Johnstown Police Department is interested in any information the public may have related to this event.

Johnstown, CO – August 25, 2021 – In the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 24 the Johnstown Police Department and Loveland Fire Department responded to the report of a vehicle fire involving an unoccupied neighboring Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle. The vehicle was parked outside of a residence in the Thompson Crossing neighborhood located in northern Johnstown. Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, Detectives with the Johnstown Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in providing any information, video footage, tips or leads pertaining to the incident.
