The Town of Johnstown’s 2022 Municipal Election will be held April 5, the first Tuesday in April of 2022. The upcoming election includes one ballot question and the election of 3 Town Council members. Town of Johnstown elections are mail ballot only so residents can expect to receive their ballot in the mail by mid-March and can return their ballot by mail or drop it off in the Town Hall by 7pm on April 5, 2022.
Johnstown, CO – February 1, 2022 – The Town of Johnstown 2022 Municipal Election will be held on April 5, 2022. Johnstown holds mail-ballot only elections, meaning that registered electors within the Town of Johnstown can expect to receive their mail-ballots beginning mid-March. Residents will be able to either mail their ballots in to the Office of the Town Clerk or drop them off at the Town Hall on or before 7pm on April 5, 2022.
On the 2022 Municipal Election ballot, registered electors will be tasked with selecting 3 official candidates to join Town Council as well as decide on one ballot question amending the Town’s Home Rule Charter.
As of Monday, January 31, 2022 the official candidates running for Town Council are as follows:
