Town of Johnstown Town government facilities will remain closed to the public in an effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health of community and staff members.
Johnstown, CO – January 1, 2021 -- Town of Johnstown officials have decided to keep Town government facilities closed to the public past January 4, 2021 and will continue to assess the need for closure of Town facilities weekly moving into 2021. When it is appropriate to reopen, the Town will make the announcement on its website, social platforms, newsletter, and email (sign up via the newsletter link).
While Town facilities are closed to the public, Town Staff are still busy working regular business hours and are available via email, phone, and services on the website. The drop-box at Town Hall is also attended to regularly and Town Council Meetings are still available via remote log-in or Facebook Live.
The closure includes the following facilities and opening status can be found at Johnstown.colorado.gov/COVID:
- Town Hall, 450 S. Parish Avenue
- Public Works, 201 S. 1st Place
- Community Center (Senior Center), 101 Charlotte Street
- Municipal Court, 450 S. Parish Avenue
- Police Department Headquarters, 430 S. Parish Avenue
- Police Substation, 4890 Ronald Reagan Boulevard

The Town encourages residents to continue to be considerate community members by wearing a mask when in public (if able), washing your hands, and watching your distance from others.
