Update: 5:00pm October 12 - Water service has been restored to all impacted customers. Crews are completing work with minor impact to roadway.
Update: 1:30pm October 12 - Water service has been impacted for a few Johnstown customers in the area for crews to make additional water line repairs. Utilities Crews have notified all impacted customers.
Update: 7:30am October 12th - There are continued issues with the water line. Crews are assessing and will complete additional repairs later today. Water is currently ON for customers, but may be turned off later in the day while repairs are made.
Update: 8:50pm October 11th - The repair work has been completed and water has been restored.
October 11, 2022 - Johnstown, CO - The Utilities Department is responding to a known waterline break in the area of Highway 60 and Kuner Ave., east of the train tracks. There are currently no impacts to traffic, although upcoming repairs may have potential impacts to traffic. More updates to follow.
The Utilities Department is working as quickly as possible investigate, fix, and return water service for those impacted. More information will be posed here or available at Town Hall for residents (call 970-578-4664) as the event continues.
