2023 Spring Clean Up Day will be on April 22 from 8am-1pm at the property on the southeast intersection of CR17 and CR46.5. During this Clean Up Day event, residents are welcome to make 1 trip in a car/SUV/truck or with a small trailer of up to 3 cubic yards to the event location to dispose of their refuse. The Town is partnering with Waste Connections (Town solid waste provider) on this event.

Time: 8am-1pm
Location: Property to the southeast of the CR17 and CR46.5 intersection
(New location note: Drive to the Johnstown YMCA and go south until you see the Clean Up Day signs on the day of the event.)
Cost: Free for Town of Johnstown garbage service customers (your utility bill notes "trash"). $20 for Town of Johnstown residents who are NOT Town of Johnstown garbage service customers. This event is to service Town of Johnstown residents, at this time non-residents (unless paying customers of the Town's garbage service as noted on their utility bill) refuse will not be accepted.
Bring your ID and Utility Bill: Residents should bring their Colorado or government issued ID with related Johnstown address as well as a printed or electronic copy of their utility bill. The ID and Utility Bill must share a matching Town of Johnstown address.
Items NOT accepted: Items NOT accepted at this Clean Up Day event include (but not limited to): hazardous waste, electronics, tires, auto parts, oil, gas, wet paint, medical waste, anything with Freon or gas, refrigerators, freezers, florescent light bulbs, batteries, propane tanks, dirt, rocks, brick, cement, rubble, construction materials, branches/trees longer than 6 feet
