The Town of Johnstown has implemented a number of changes to the way it interacts with local business owners in order to develop more meaningful community connections; this includes hiring a new Economic Development Manager, creating a Business of the Month program, and organizing monthly business-walks.
The Town of Johnstown has heard resident concerns regarding water taste and odor issues and has prioritized addressing these concerns by installing three new systems to help mitigate taste and odor issues. These systems will be online by the end of June.
The Town of Johnstown has a scheduled tornado siren TEST for Thursday, June 24 at 1pm for all neighborhood sirens, weather permitting.

Public Works Proposed Project & Public Outreach: Charlotte St. Improvements
Charlotte Street between Letford Elementary and Parish Park has been identified through a Roadway Condition Survey to be in need of rehabilitation; specifically, the reconstruction of asphalt pavement and concrete as well as the replacement of aged water and sewer lines as well as the installation of new stormwater lines to address surface flooding issues.
The Town of Johnstown and the Pioneer Ridge Disc Golf Club are excited to announce the opening of the new Pioneer Ridge Disc Golf Course for June 5, 2021.

Road Work Update - May 14, 2021 - The Town of Johnstown is aware of the lengthy thru-traffic road closure of County Road 3 and it's impact on Johnstown and area residents.
County Road 3 will be undergoing work to install a new bridge as well as install and repair water and sewer lines. The project work has already been approved by the Town and work will be starting May 17, weather permitting.
