A travel alert for Monday, March 1, 2021 from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT)
There will be a day time closure of LCR 14 at the underpass of I-25 for Monday, March 1. Residents should expect to see "detour" signage on Johnstown roads around the area of the East Frontage Road though the work is being done beneath the underpass. Drivers will be directed to go north or south on the East Frontage Road towards an alternate route/interstate crossing. The work being done is related to the I-25 North Express Lanes project.
A couple of TRAVEL ALERTS for tonight from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT)
February 19, 2021 - Johnstown, CO - Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will be doing some work at the intersections of Highway 60 and Telup as well as Highway 60 and Colorado Blvd on Monday February 22.
The work will take place overnight between 9pm and 5am and will cause single lane closures.

UPDATE 2/14/2021: Colorado Analytical has also confirmed that the water is safe.
The Town has received some calls and online inquiries regarding current water color, taste, and odor issues. Please be aware, that while these issues are unpleasant – the Town’s water is meeting the State’s standards at this time.
2/3/2021 @ 3:14pm - Regular water service has resumed.
2/3/2021 @ 2:30pm - There is a known water outage at Gateway Subdivision and in areas along I25 North Frontage Road. Public Works is working to fix the pump or looking at turning on emergency water right now. Water is expected to return to the areas impacted shortly.
Two new COVID-19 grant opportunities are available (but closing soon), funding comes from Senate Bill 20B-001, for restaurants, bars, movie theaters, breweries, distilleries, wineries, fitness clubs, and caterers in both Johnstown-Weld and Larimer Counties.
Waste Management will pick up Christmas Trees on the regular trash pick up day for customers until January 25, 2021. Please place the tree by your garbage can on the day of pick up. Please remember to remove the lights and decorations off of your Christmas tree prior to placing it outside for pick up.
