What is Johnstown Cash?
The Johnstown Cash program launched in April 2021 and exists to encourage residents to support local businesses - and neighbors - and keep Johnstown great.
Johnstown Cash is the physical gift certificate that each household in the Town of Johnstown received in April 2021. This Johnstown Cash gift certificate (known as Johnstown Cash) is worth $20 and functions similarly to cash at participating businesses within Town limits.
The Johnstown Cash Program runs from April 2021 - December 31, 2021.
How do I get my Johnstown Cash?
Johnstown Cash was mailed to each household in April 2021.
The cash was included with each home's utility bill, or separate mailing if the home opted for a monthly electronic utility bill.
Treat your Johnstown Cash like actual cash - tuck it in your wallet or somewhere safe when you receive it because, like cash, if it is lost then it is lost.
What if I don't use all of my Johnstown Cash?
The mission of the program is to support local businesses and shop local. It is recommended that cash be used for a purchase of, or higher, than the $20 cash amount.
It is up to the discretion of the individual businesses to manage an unused balance of your Johnstown Cash certificate.
