TRASH ALERT - Holiday One Day Delay
Trash pick-up for SEPTEMBER 4 and SEPTEMBER 6 will be on a one day delayed schedule on account of the Monday holiday.
September 4 pick-up will happen SEPTEMBER 5 - Tuesday
September 5 pick-up will happen SEPTEMBER 7 - Thursday
Local Trash Service Extended to August 10th For Some Neighborhoods
Waste Connections was unable to complete trash pickup service today (August 9th, 2023) for many Johnstown residents living in Pioneer Ridge and neighborhoods south of Highway 60 and east of County Road 17. Residents whose trash was not picked up should leave their cans out to be picked up tomorrow (August 10th).
Johnstown Launches Survey for Proposed Outdoor Aquatic Center
**The survey is closed as of September 15, 2023**
The Town of Johnstown is seeking community input via survey on the possibilities for an outdoor community aquatic center. The survey gives community members the opportunity to learn about different types of outdoor aquatic opportunities and layouts and to provide feedback.
The data and comments that residents provide via the survey will provide further insight to the pool feasibility study currently being conducted by a committee made up of residents and Town staff representatives.
National Night Out Event at JPD on Aug. 1

JULY 21 - Fire vs PD Softball Fundraiser
Your favorite local emergency responders are stepping up to the plate for charity! Join Johnstown PD and Front Range Fire Rescue at Nelson Ball Field (671 Telep Ave.) on JULY 21 as members of the two agencies face off in a friendly but competitive game of softball to raise money for local safety initiatives. First pitch will be at 6pm, and donations will be accepted at the gate before and during the game.
Johnstown BBQ Day Concert & Fireworks Rescheduled for September 8th
The Johnstown BBQ Day Committee has announced the official reschedule of the Concert and Fireworks that were postponed by BBQ Day rain earlier this summer. Join the community at the new Roosevelt High School off County Road 13 & Roosevelt Pkwy. at 6pm for a performance by El Loco Fandango, a ZZ Top tribute band, followed by fireworks at 8pm. Johnstown Police Department Arrests 4 Individuals Connected to Child Prostitution
Johnstown Police Department and Larimer County Sheriff’s Office participated in a coordinated multi-jurisdictional operation with a focus on child prostitution from July 6-8
