Arbor Day Tree Giveaway
Johnstown is proud to be a Tree City USA. Each year, the Town celebrates Arbor Day by providing a limited number of trees for residents through the Tree Giveaway Program.
Clean Up Day
The Town of Johnstown holds a clean up day event April of each year. Interested residents may drop off unwanted household debris for disposal.
Community Calendar Photo Contest
The annual Town of Johnstown Calendar features resident-submitted photos representing Johnstown! The calendar showcases local photographers in a full-sized, 12-month calendar that will be sent to all residents at the end of each year.

Johnstown Honors
The Johnstown Honors Program is a banner program to recognize Johnstown’s past and present members of the US Armed Forces. Applicants (servicemembers OR the servicemember’s immediate family) can apply for a banner honoring their servicemember who has lived, or currently lives, in the Town of Johnstown. Applicants must be current residents of the Town of Johnstown. Any applications submitted prior to the first Monday in April will be considered for same-year display.
