Notice of Vacancy

The Town of Johnstown Council will be accepting applications for the position of Councilmember for an unexpired term ending April 2024. Town Council meets regularly on the first and third Mondays at 7 pm, with various other meetings and events throughout.

Qualifications:

• Must be a citizen of the United States
• Must be a registered elector of the Town of Johnstown
• Must have resided in the Town of Johnstown for a period of at least twelve (12) months
• Cannot be a salaried employee of the Town during the tenure of office

 Interviews will take place May 8, 2023, starting at 6 pm. It is anticipated that the Town Council will appoint a Councilmember for the unexpired term no later than May 15, 2023.
