The Planning & Zoning Commission, which is made up of 7 Johnstown residents appointed at the discretion of Town Council, conducts studies and surveys related to the present conditions and future growth of the community and advises in the preparation of development master plans and regulations.

March 30, 2023 - Johnstown, CO - Public Works is responding to a known water main break on Charlotte Street that is impacting water service for homes along Charlotte Street between Harding Ave and Columbine Ave.

The Town of Johnstown began the Charlotte Street Improvement Project in November 2022. This project will improve the condition of Charlotte St. between Jay Avenue (Letford Elementary) and Columbine Avenue (Parish Park), replacing and upgrading aged water and sewer infrastructure, installing a new stormwater system, and providing residents with a smoother, high-quality road and wider sidewalks in the area.
This project is expected to be completed in 2 phases and is estimated to be finished during Summer 2023.
