In January (likely starting January 3) there will be a full closure of the Frontage Road between CR18 and River Ranch Parkway. In mid-December, CR3 was opened with complete access at CR18.

Purpose of Project:
Residents who have garbage service with the Town’s provider, Waste Connections, will have an opportunity for free curbside pickup of their Christmas tree this month! Waste Connections will be collecting trees for disposal on JANUARY 16 and JANUARY 18 based on current garbage service days. A separate truck will travel the garbage route picking up Christmas trees so that it can then bring them to a green waste facility when tree pickup is complete.

The Town of Johnstown began the Charlotte Street Improvement Project in November 2022. This project will improve the condition of Charlotte St. between Jay Avenue (Letford Elementary) and Columbine Avenue (Parish Park), replacing and upgrading aged water and sewer infrastructure, installing a new stormwater system, and providing residents with a smoother, high-quality road and wider sidewalks in the area.
This project is expected to be completed in 2 phases and is estimated to be finished during Summer 2023.

Waste Connections has announced an upcoming change to garbage and recycling service that will impact some Johnstown households, beginning on November 14.
Update: 5:00pm October 12 - Water service has been restored to all impacted customers. Crews are completing work with minor impact to roadway.
Update: 1:30pm October 12 - Water service has been impacted for a few Johnstown customers in the area for crews to make additional water line repairs. Utilities Crews have notified all impacted customers.
